First phase of the Tuzla maternity ward renovation completed

The renovated section now includes new rooms and en-suite apartments, upgraded installations and an open delivery area, while further phases remain planned.

University Clinical Centre Tuzla has completed the first phase of renovation and modernisation at its Clinic for Gynaecology and Obstetrics. The postpartum ward now has refurbished patient rooms and en-suite apartments, with work covering approximately 700 square metres.

According to the official announcement, the project included new internal joinery, floor coverings, electrical installations and radiators, backup power for outages and a newly arranged open delivery area. The Tuzla Canton Government allocated BAM 600,000 for this phase.

The institution says two further phases are planned, including renovation of the delivery theatre and newborn area. The announcement confirms completion of the first phase, not the entire project; patients should confirm current arrangements directly with the clinic.
